Confident Group chairman CJ Roy’s death: Karnataka minister Priyank Kharge calls it ‘case of pure harassment by IT officials’

Karnataka minister Priyank Kharge alleged the death of Confident Group chairman CJ Roy was due to “pure harassment” by the Income Tax Department. Roy allegedly died by suicide after his company was raided in December and faced a chargesheet deadline. Kharge accused the Centre of misusing agencies against those not aligned with the government.
