Murshidabad police questioned Bharatpur MLA Humayun Kabir’s son, Golam Nabi Azad, after a personal security officer alleged assault over a leave request. Azad was released after questioning. Kabir denied the claims, stating he had previously complained about the officer’s conduct and accused police of acting on TMC’s orders, a charge the party denied.
