Pro-Kannada activists vandalise Hindi signboard at Bengaluru’s BEL Circle; FIR registered

Pro-Kannada activists have been booked for vandalizing a Hindi signboard at Bengaluru’s BEL Circle. The group, Karnataka Rakshana Vedike, claimed the unauthorized sign was an imposition of Hindi. Police intervened to control the situation and have registered a case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for rioting and destruction of public property. Investigations are ongoing.
